I would like to take this opportunity to explain a little about who I am. 

I started photography when I was about 10 years old.  My father was a part time wedding photographer and introduced me to the magic of the darkroom.  (We had one in the basement). 

For the majority of my life I worked as a musician.  I traveled the country in numerous bands and played locally in the Twin Cities area.  I found that being a musician was a lot of fun, but it didn't pay the bills :) 

In 2002, I shot my first professional wedding.  In 2003 I was full time into the business.  Business took off very fast as I put a lot of time into each wedding to make sure that each image was of the finest quality my clients noticed and word of mouth spread.

Although I do shoot other forms of photography such as architectural, commercial, portraiture, high school seniors and more, weddings still remain  90% of my business.  I really do love the challenges as well as being able to witness such joy and love in the couples I work with.
