St Paul Hotel Corporate Headshots – Evergreen Energy MN

Corporate head shots are always interesting, usually challenging,  but highly  rewarding (if you can think on your feet).  This shoot for Ever-Green Energy was no exception.  They are located in St. Paul, MN near the Landmark Center in Rice Park and they sell green energy to private and commercial clients.

They had an event/meeting because of a great new CEO taking control of the ship, and they wanted to get some new group shots along with some studio portrait type head shots.  The challenge was first to bring all my photo gear into the hotel quickly and not having to haul it all too far.   I also had to shoot 25 individual head shots and about 6 different group shots with 10-15 people all within about an hour and a half!  Nobody likes to wait for photos so I work very quickly.  What’s amazing  about this company is that they are actually growing their business even in this down economy!  I’ve been lucky enough to be their commercial and event photographer and have been taking their studio portraits for about 4 years now.   I can honestly say that they are  a fantastic and super friendly group of people.   I’ll just post a few photos from the session to show how great they are even in a “studio” portrait setting.

MN Executive Headshot in Mpls MN

I was commissioned to do an executive headshot for Phillip.  He was hired as a CEO for a very popular non profit organization in Minnesota.

I usually never use backdrops but once in a while someone wants a very standard headshot, especially for the professional corporate headshots.

I then had him sit on my couch and used natural light (my favorite) to produce this more friendly version:

I am wondering what your pricing is for corporate headshots. We will need approximately 7-10 headshots taken for people in the office here downtown. Also, we will need these photos to be as similar as possible to our Milwaukee office. They are using the following:

The “Chase Blue” background is achieved by hitting black felt background material with a strobe, fitted with a blue filter #174.
