Marriott City Center Hotel | MN Wedding Photography – Mike and Katie

Downtown Minneapolis MN wedding with a gorgeous couple in love.  They had the most beautiful venue…and they have that all important secret of their romance and commitment to each other.  One of the best Twin Cities weddings I’ve captured.   They wanted a non-traditional artistic photo journalistic style, but they looked great posed as well.

St Paul Hotel Corporate Headshots – Evergreen Energy MN

Corporate head shots are always interesting, usually challenging,  but highly  rewarding (if you can think on your feet).  Ever-Green Energy is no exception.  They are located in St. Paul, MN near the Landmark Center in Rice Park and they sell green energy to private and commercial clients.

They had an event/meeting because of a great new CEO taking control of the ship, and they wanted to get some new group shots along with some studio portrait type head shots.  The challenge was first to bring all my photo gear into the hotel quickly and not having to haul it all too far.   I also had to shoot 25 individual head shots and about 6 different group shots with 10-15 people all within about an hour and a half!  Nobody likes to wait for photos so I work very quickly.  What’s amazing  about this company is that they are actually growing their business even in this down economy!  I’ve been lucky enough to be their commercial and event photographer and have been taking their studio portraits for about 4 years now.   I can honestly say that they are  a very real,  humble but intelligent and friendly group of people.  It must be all the green they save:)  I’ll just post a few photos from the session to show how great they are even in a “studio” portrait setting so you can see their great smiles.

Here is a composite image much like our old high school senior yearbooks hey?

Ahhhhh, never mind…I don’t want to do this to anybody unless you are in a high school senior yearbook.

A new way to view album design pages!

This is a new plug in that allows an easy and unique way to view album layouts.  I just wanted to test it out for wedding album layout approval. Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below.

Tim Wild - All I can get it to do is zoom into the first image! I see no flipping.

admin - Tim, you need to click on the upper write corner and drag to the left (like you are turning the page of an album). Check it out, it’s kinda neat.
